A 90g pot of Campden Powder (Sodium Metabisulphite).
Dosage – as a preservative
Add 2.5g (1 teaspoon) per 4.5L.
Can also be used as steriliser.
Sufficient for 35 doses, or as directed.
Add 1 crushed Campden tablet to each gallon of wine at the end of fermentation to prevent oxidation and bacterial contamination during the bottling and syphoning.
Sodium Metabisulphite (E223 Sulphites), Dextrose Monohydrate
Harmful if swallowed: irritation of mouth, throat and digestive tract.
Give plenty of water to drink. Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical advice.
