Fuggle is probably the best known English hop variety, dating from 1875 when it was discovered by a Kent hop grower Richard Fuggle. Although once a mainstay of British Brewing, it is now in decline in terms of volumes grown each year and is being out-paced by some of the modern day hops. Also called fuggles .
A dual purpose hop used for both bittering and late aromas.
Fuggle has Green Tea, Mint, Grass, Floral aromas.
